"My wife and I purchased a large sailboat in San Diego and needed a delivery captain for a trip up the coast to Seattle. We were put in contact with Captain Coy Wilson and I couldn’t be happier because of it. A long distance delivery isn’t the easiest thing to put together, but Capt. Wilson made the entire process something that we look back on fondly. 

We were provided with an extremely detailed quote ahead of time and given a great overview of how a typically delivery experience would go before we signed on the dotted line. During the delivery,  Capt. Wilson was in regular contact with us for status updates and trip photos, we were also informed of all expenditures throughout the trip so we could track against the delivery estimate. We also greatly appreciated the active tracking of the vessel position and texting ability when the vessel was out of coastal cellphone range.

When the boat unexpectedly lost its charge controller and developed an issue with a fuel pump, Capt. Wilson and his team had the expertise to make quick repairs and keep the delivery safely on track.

I had not hired a delivery captain before, but Captain Coy was recommended by a friend. The delivery was well executed.  Working with him throughout was great; from the planning, to execution, to completion, and billing, the communication was complete and timely.  He was willing to take on a late season delivery down the East Coast during the holidays, on a boat that had just been purchased.  With all the systems being unknown, he was able to familiarize himself with the boat and its opperation, dealt with the surprises along the way efficiently (alternator and hydronic heater).  A very long list of things to make it ready for shipping was at the end of the trip, all were taken care of.  Very happy with the condition of the boat on arrival.  Would happily hire Captain Coy again! - Andy

Captain Coy delivered my Beneteau First from Marina Del Rey to San Diego in just 20 hours.  He and his assistant Nathan hosed the boat down and left it in pristine condition. He was a pleasure to work with and provided a detailed invoice of the charges, which were very reasonable. He also provided me with an app that allowed me to monitor his progress during the trip (very cool!). I would not hesitate to recommend Captain Coy to anyone who needs a boat delivery. Captain Coy recently completed 2 trips aboard our families GB36 Trawler. One through the inside passage from Anacortes to Sitka, and again from Sitka to Petersburg. After which he stuck around for 3 days to assist with getting the boat hauled out and stored for winter . During the trip Captain Coy taught our family how to use and understand all of the new navigational and operational equipment we recently had installed, as well as completed a full engine service along the way. It was very apparent upon meeting Coy that he was an intelligent and professional mariner.

What a great experience it was boating with Captain Coy. He kept it light hearted and very educational. He certainly knows boats top to bottom along with navigational instruments. My family and I will certainly refer anyone we know to such a solid Captain who truly cares for your boat like it's his own.

I am very grateful to have come in contact with Captain Coy. He effortlessly delivered our boat from Panama to San Francisco, keeping us updated through the whole process. The boat arrived cleaner than we left it and he even did some maintenance work on the engine along the way!
